To keep your billing fair and transparent, Vidancy uses credits. You pay to the second for what you actually produce, instead of a flat rate for whole minutes. And the model is simple — 1 second of video = 1 credit. Example: a 2-minute video = 120 seconds = 120 credits. Credits are used whenever a video is created or processed.

Do my credits expire?

Purchased monthly credits remain valid for exactly three months from their purchase time. Each purchase expires independently, so credits are not reset at the end of a calendar month.

What happens if I up- or downgrade mid-month?

An upgrade takes effect immediately: you get the higher quota right away, and the difference is charged pro rata for the remaining days of the current period. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period — until then you keep your current plan and quota.

Is there an annual quota?

Yes. On every yearly plan your minutes become a shared annual pool instead of resetting each month. You can spread your videos freely across the year — produce more in intense months and less in quiet ones, without unused credits expiring at the end of the month.

Can I test the API or the MCP server?

API access and the MCP server are included in Pro and can be evaluated during the 14-day Pro trial on Free and Starter.

Can I create videos with my own AI (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini)?

Yes. Through our MCP server you can control Vidancy directly from AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and have them create videos. The MCP server is available from the Pro plan up.
